Hyatt vs. Radisson
 

I'm planning our honeymoon for Oct 2002 & are undecided between the two resorts we have heard great things about the two. Which one can anyone suggest would be more appropriate for a honeymoon??????

I'm sorry I'm travelling to Aruba.

This always seems to bring out the ire in the "Aruba lovers" but when we were there last, and the three previous visits, the wind did make beach sitting very unpleasant and somedays impossible with the blowing hurting stinging sand. It is my understanding that they get stronger thru the Spring and I have never been in December so it may be different. It seems that they average around 20K but some people enjoy them and call them "cooling breezes" retreating to the more protected pools. I just look at the Divi Divi trees are realize that it must be steady as the trees do grow bent over and it is the wind surfing capital. But, it can still provide a fun time and is enjoyed by lots of people! And "that's the truth," as I experienced it! :-) <BR>

I found the wind much stronger on Aruba than one gets on a "bad hair day." That wind was strong, constant and made the blowing sand sting and hurt! But that does, I understand, depend on the season with the Winter into Spring being the strongest. Those divi divi trees grow sideways because of the relentless wind - other places they grow tall and scrawny. I didn't think that the no see 'em or skeeters were worse in the TCI than anywhere else. In fact, there are gentle tradewinds that keep 'em at bay too depending on your location. At least you can use bug repellent. What do you use as a wind repellent? We tried buiding windbreaks out of chairs and towels and still wound up covered with sand in every nook and cranny! 'twasn't pleasant! <BR>

Karen It sound as if your very disappointed in Aruba...It seems as if your not really answering whether you liked the Hyatt or the Radisson?????<BR>

Raddison. We stay there every time we go. It is great.
