Hyatt or Radisson in Aruba
Going to Aruba in October, without the kids.
Would you recommend the Hyatt or the Radisson? Thanks for the help! |
Hyatt.
|
HYATT IS ON THE BEACH, RADISSON ISNT. HYATT IS MUCH NICER. ROOMS SUCK, BUT THE AMAZING POOLS AND SERVICE MAKE UP FOR IT
|
The Radisson is most certainly on the beach...it's a gorgeous hotel. 55k in renovations recently. The rooms are very nicely decorated...not your standard hotel chain rooms. The beach is great and the so is the pool.
Radisson gets my vote. Hyatt does have more restaurants on-site but it's just a short walk down the beach from the Radisson. |
Oops...that should say 55 MILLION in renovations.
|
One more thing! The Radisson's grounds are nicer than the Hyatt's...lots of tropical landscaping...flowers, waterfalls, parrots etc.
I'm done now! :-) |
Definitely Hyatt...
|
Both excellent. Take whatever's cheaper or flip a coin.

I would absolutley say the Hyatt! I was actually in the same position as you for my honeymoon (but also had the Marriott in the mix)...
I didnt know which to choose, then my uncle who had just returned from Aruba Marriott said that the Hyatt was the most amazing hotel in Aruba and He would recommend nothing less!! He even offered to pay the difference if I found the Hyatt more expensive than the radisson or marriot! We were upgraded to an ocean/pool view with turndown service and roses on my pillow every night... I hope this helps, if you have any questions I will be happy to answer! Ruby |
Can you clear up the thing about the rooms NOT being as nice at the Aruba Hyatt as the Radisson??And the balconies being too small to stand on?? Whenever I read comparisons, they seem the prefer the guestroom/balconies in the Radisson to those in the Hyatt. I am about to book and still don't know which one to choose!!?? Thanks!
|
Laurie, if you want to sit out on your balcony choose Radisson. If you don't care about balconies go with Hyatt. There! Simple! Now stop stressing & go book it!
