Hyatt Grand Cayman

Hello!
Does anyone have any info on the Hyatt Grand Cayman? We are scheduled to go there in the spring with our kids. I know it's only beach suites right now (which appeals to us)...but any other info? Thanks!

As of two weeks ago the Golf Course was open, but not operating out of the club house, just a temporary tent type thing. My son said the condition of the course looked fine.

Thanks for the scoop.
Any more info out there?

When exactly are you going? We're going week of April 10th for one week. I'll post a trip report by the end of April that you can check out if you haven't left yet.

We're going before you so maybe I'll post a report for you!!! Are you going with kids?

Would love to read your thoughts when you're back. We'll be going with our 4-year-old son.

nickdan,

is this your first trip to the island? I don't have much help for you on the Hyatt [its beautiful, that's about all I can tell you about it] but if you have any other questions regarding the island, or things you'd like to do, ask away. :)

How old are the kids? Will you have a car? Do you dive? Snorkel?

Enjoy your trip!

Do we need to rent a car? We usually don't. I'd rather take a taxi unless we really need one. First time to Grand Cayman. We like to dive, snorkel, do all water sports, etc. Any good restaurants around the Hyatt that aren't too expensive? I heard everything's pretty pricey.
Thanks!
