How windy is Curacao?

We're planning a honeymoon trip to Curacao in mid-September. Can anyone tell me how windy the island is? I've heard stories about Aruba being quite windy and want to know if Curacao is the same.

Thanks!

Hi Scuba,
We found it to be wonderfully breezy. A light tropical breeze that is refreshing, not a "wind blowing sand in your contacts" kind of breeze.
A light breeze at the pool that I believe you would appreciate.
Enjoy Curacao, we did!
Happy travels, T.

Having been to both, I must say that I never noticed wind in Curacao. In Aruba, it was totally annoying.

Curacao is a very charming island and I think you will be quite happy with your choice.

First congrats on your honeymoon. :-). Having been to Curacao and Aruba, for whatever meteorilogical reason the latter is far breezier than the former. If your ideal is to kick back abd relax then Curacao is the place for you but don't expect much in the way of nightlife. Then again it is your honeymoon so I suppose you have that part planned. :S-. Cheers and best of luck. Larry.

Curacao is not unusually windy. They have a breeze, but it's ok. Enjoy the island!

We were just in Curacao about 2 weeks ago. It was very breezy, but we loved it!! You really don't feel that warm because of the constant breeze. It was perfect.
