How windy is Aruba?
Looking to go to the Bucuti for our honeymoon in September, but everyone keeps telling me Aruba is too windy?!? I had heard it was windy, but is it too windy to the point where you can't enjoy yourself while sitting on the beach?

The whole wind issue is highly overrated. I've been to Aruba several times and it's never bothered me or my companions, never been an issue.
Don't worry about it.
I guess some people just need something to complain about.
Enjoy & Congratulations!

Its not that windy at all! I would return in a heartbeat. Go to www.arubahouse.com and then to the general information sub-title. There you will find a comprehensive listing of the wind speed by month. You will be fine. Its windy but you won't be blown off the beach! Not even close. Also you will find many helpful links at that site about Aruba. Have a wonderful honeymoon and congratulations!

I agree with Sue. There certainly is a breeze blowing, but I hate to think how humid it would have been without it!
It's not all that bad, and since it's more or less constant you get used to it quickly. Aruba's a great place.
