How to get to Harbour Island?
 

hi - I am interested in a trip next month to Harbour Island but am only finding very expensive flights from Miami or Ft Lauderdale to North Eleuthera airport and none of them work well as connections (only one flight a day). Are there other options that I am missing for travel (ie other airlines or destinations?) Ideally we would like to travel out of Miami as we can get a non-stop flight there.

You can also try the Bahamas Fast Ferries. There is a Nassau - Harbour Island route, but it only leaves at 8 am. You would have to fly into Nassau the night before and take the ferry the next morning.

We cannot make in one day either so we fly in to Ft. Lauderdale late and overnight. This allows us to take the first flight out to North Eleuthera and enjoy most of the day on the beach.
