Ok, I should know better than to put too much credence into weather.com but they are predicting rain in Bermuda for the next week or so!!! Oh my! Damn! I am going swimming anyway! I hope its not a soaker though! I think the last time I went to Bermuda, rain was predicted and it turned out ok. Any Bermuda addicts out there?

Here is the site that I referred to for weather in Bermuda. I was just there for a week in July and it rained briefly, twice, while there. Hardly the type of weather some of the rainy reports indicated. Dress lightly, Bermuda can be hot and humid. Enjoy - wish I were still there!

We went to Negril Jamaica in May. Rain was predicted all week. It clouded up once or twice & finally rained the day before we left to come home. The rain started about lunchtime & stopped within an hour. We spent the rain time eating & relaxing then took off again. Most of the time we've been told that it isn't an all day rain like we get at home unless there's a real storm.

The Bermuda weather site is great, EXCEPT that some of the weather is off the island..lol. We went in June and had absolutely perfect weather although they had predicted showers.. Go and have Bermudaful Days and a few Dark and Stormies or Rum Swizzles for those of us who are BOP's.. Bermuda Obsessed People...

It's kind of funny to see people freaking out over weather predictions for their upcoming trips to the islands. In (most) cases, it rains very briefly, and that's about it. Yes, the weather can sometimes not cooperate if a system stalls over a certain area for a few days, but for the most part, the odds are usually in your favor for good weather. This is obviously why there is a "high" season & "low" season. Your odds for perfect weather are simply a bit better during the high season, thus why you pay more. The resorts know this is a popular time for people to visit, and take full advantage. My personal opinion is to try and visit during the very first part of the low season, getting the better rates, and still having good odds for nice weather. Let's face it, you can't change the weather no matter how much you worry. But with a little research (and mean VERY little), you can book your vacation around the seasons where your odds are lower of getting perfect weather. Vacations are to relax and forget about your everyday problems, so worrying about something you can't predict seems like a lot of wasted energy. JMHO.....

Went to Aruba last summer. Just before I left I checked the weather--big mistake. Rain was predicted for every day of my trip, I worried the whole way there. But when we got there the weather was BEAUTIFUL and stayed that way. Don't think abt. it and have a fabulous time in Bermuda.

Simply put, if you check the internet weather sites for the Caribbean every day for a year you'd swear the sun never shines. They are notoriously inaccurate - don't give them a second thought. Besides, you can't control the weather- so why worry about it.

One way to judge the weather is to look at web cams.
I did a web search and came up with several for Bermuda.

There's a couple of links. Hope it helps. But as everyone else said...don't worry about the weather because you can't do anything about it!
Peace, Greenie
