How is Tarquynn Manor?
I've read alot of messages on this bulletin board, and no one seems to mention Tarquynn Manor. Myself, my husband and our 3 and 7 year olds are planning on staying there in Jan. Does anyone have any advice? Would some of the other condo's on North 7MB be better suited for our family? We would like a roomy condo, nice sandy, calm beach and pool. Thank you for any advie.
Claire

Last year we stayed at the London House right next door to the Tarquynn Manor and it looked nice. It is on a great section of beach.

I know what you mean about not seeing much about these condos on this board. We stayed there last spring and had the best vacation ever! The rooms are big and nice, the staff was very nice, and the location is the best! The beach is the calmest I saw--we walked a lot in both directions--- and it has some nice d areas if you need to escape from the sun.
The pool was nice for the kids and there are pool toys available.
That was our first time and we met a lot of repeat customers. Maybe it's just a well kept secret. I'd go back. It had decent prices when we were looking into it. It was between there and the Anchorage or Christopher Columbus. From what I could tell they are probably all comparable but I liked the Tarquynn's beach area much better!!
Good luck! I want to go again!

That was supposed to say SHADED areas on the beach in my previous post! Not sure what happened there. The London house next door did look very nice also, but I think for me, I'd limit myself to those two places if I went back again. It was just a feel I got for them. The London House had nice shaded areas too. The pool there was just a bit smaller.

Thanks for your reply's. We have decided to stay at Tarquynn, and think it will be just what we want!

We booked a Tarquynn Manor suite for two couples and two sons in July. Would like to hear your impressions, Claire, and any suggestions you might have concerning room requests, etc.
