How do I post to a particular island?

I've tried twice to post my message directly to the St. Maartin board, but it keeps posting to the broader Caribbean board. I highlighted St. Martin under "post a new message" but it still takes me back to the other board. What am I doing wrong?

hi stotz, nothing wrong at all. you have done fine and all 4 of your messages are at the top of the st.marteen/martin board. all original posts go to their assigned spot, if you pick one, and to the to of the general board as well. this is a good thing as someone who does not click on st. martin may still have helpful info for you.

Hi, Stotz. That is the best you can do on Fodor's. You can post under the Caribbean forum, but when you highlight an island, state, etc., that is for the search feature. So if someone is searching for St. Martin, then that thread you started will be in the list on the left. Hope this helps! :)

Stotz - there is no St. Martin board. All posts, regardless of island appear on the general "Caribbean" forum. That's why it's always helpful to put the island name in the title of your post.

The feature you mention is only for SEARCHING for a particular island or area. ALL posts go to the Carribean board.
