how are the roads??

Hi, does anyone know the condition of the road(s) from Montego Bay to the Negril area?

The roads are much better now that the new "Highway" has been completed. The travel time has also been cut down as a result of it as well.

We were just there last week and the road is great. 1 hour 10 minutes from Montego Bay to Negril.

Don't take the Reading-Ferris Cross-Sav-Negril route right now -- marly roads, some wash-outs and stretches under construction.'Pothole-Free in 2003' is something the new President will have to live up to now,eh? The 125mile/hour coastal 'speedway' from MoBay-Negril is fine. Note the 'Undertakers Love Overtakers' signs, tho...
