Hotels near Little Dix Bay Resort

Hi all,

I am getting married at the Little Dix Bay resort in November - we are so excited! However, not all of our guests will be able to afford their rates - any suggestions to more economical hotels that are close to Little Dix that we could suggest to our guests?

Thanks so much! I love this site - everyone is so helpful.

There is not much there in terms of "hotels" or what you might think of when you think of a hotel.

There is guavaberry spring bay , which are actually cottages, please note no AC but they do have windows on all sides and a good breeze.

Fishers Cove, which is in "town" but on a nice beach. They are little cottages also.

Therere are condos - Old Yard Village. (it used to be a hotel, now condos but basically they operate as a hotel, they are not that cheap though)

In that area of the island thats pretty much it. There is not much at all on VG. Its a sleepy place.

Make sure you dine at the Rock cafe, one of the only decent places to eat on the island. Food is much better than little dix.

I cut and pasted this, I answered on your original post :)

There is also the Mango Bay Resort (www.mangobayresort.com). We're staying there in June.

It's supposed to be on one of the nicest beaches on Virgin Gorda (Mahoe Bay area).

Yes Mango would not be too far. its on the way sort of going the direction of north sound, but not as far as nail bay or anything which is in north sound. Guavaberry might be the easiest for your guests as it is very close to town and has its own commisary and internet. I guess it depends on how long people are staying and how economical they want to be...

When we were at Little Dix Bay 4-5 years ago outside guests were not encouraged. I do not know current policy.
