Hotels in Nevis?
 

Hi all! I'm heading to Nevis in December and need to choose a hotel. I'm thinking about Oualie Beach Hotel or Nisbet Plantation. Any advice? It's only a few days, so the price difference doesn't make a huge difference. Goals are great beaches and a relaxing place to hang out. Do you think Nisbet is too stuffy? Is Oualie Beach pretty? Do you think it's best to get the plantation experience in Nevis, or do I not want to miss the opportunity to eat out in different restaurants? Any advice much appreciated, as I leave in a few weeks. Thanks!

Hi Gail, I sure do envy you! Nevis is a beautiful island and I know you will love it there. I normally stay on St. Kitts, so I can't really tell you much about accommodations on Nevis. However, I would suggest that you check out www.nevis1.com - that's a great website written by someone who has travelled to Nevis many times. <BR> <BR>Have a wonderful time and do post a trip report on your return. <BR> <BR>Laura

Gail, <BR>We have stayed both places, the Qualie and Nisbet Plantation, and liked them both But the Nisbet has a much nicer beach and much better food. I would go back to the Nisbet anytime. Just saw where it was voted among the top hotels <BR>in Conde Nast.
