Jolly Roger Inn ! we stay there the night prior to Jost. it's a short walk to the ferry. only a few rooms/some w/shared bathrooms ( we've always gotten one with private bath).rooms are somewhat basic, but has all we need for the night. restaurant is terrific ! very friendly...and the price is right ! www.jollyrogerbvi.com

When I only have 1 night, I stay at Heritage Inn. Best views and great food with new chef. Great prices too. They will pick you up and drop you back to West End Ferry......or rent a car from Jerry's car Rental. He picks up and takes you back too.

If you have rental car...head over to North Shore road and stay at any number of places all the way to Cane Graden Bay.

Tess is right that Jolly is a walk to ferry...but rooms are noisy. Did that and didnt like it. Went up hioll 5 minutes away and had breath taking views at heritage.

Agree with marbleheadguy that Heritage Inn does offer some of the best views in the BVI. However, I think you’ll find they usually have a 3-night minimum and it’ll take you nearer 15 mins to drive to the West End ferry dock from their location on Windy Hill (between Cane Garden Bay and Carrot Bay). In the past I’ve enjoyed dining at the restaurant at Heritage Inn, Banankeet Café.

Take a look at Sebastian’s in Apple Bay – they might rent for one night only and then you’re within a 5-10 mins’ drive over Zion Hill and along the south coast road to the ferry dock. I haven’t viewed the rooms at the Jolly Roger so cannot comment but have dined there on a number of occasions and can highly recommend both the food and service. Coco Plums is another good restaurant, which is within walking distance of Sebastian’s.

I second the rec for Sebastians. Very close to west end and a good restaurant. Coco Plums is great too!

Peace
