Hotel stay in Turks & Caicos
Which hotel is better The Sands or The Alexandra, and why?? I'm trying to narrow down a place to stay for our trip in May. Any suggestions other than these 2? Thanks!

Who is all going? If you have kids the Sands is a great condo complex with screened in porches. Very family friendly.
As a couple, I would go with the Alexandra. Great pool. It was our 2nd choice. We went with the Sibonne. Loved it!

Alexandra is huge. Depending which building you are staying in it's way too much walking to get to the beach for us, unless closer to the beach is in your budget. IMO, the grounds at The Sands are better.
Our choice is always Ocean Club WEST. We like the low rise buildings, close to the pool, restaurant, and beach. You could also check out Royal West Indies and Ocean Club but we prefer the location of Ocean Club WEST.

Alexandra vs. Sands - it's quite a common question actually, one that I get at least once per week - both great resorts that are on award-winning Grace Bay beach, with good beachfront restaurants as well
