Hotel recommendations for Cabarete, DR
 

My husband and I are hoping to visit Cabarete, Dominican Republic, next spring for one week. We may spend one night in Punta Rucia (to visit Cayo Arena), also. In Cabarete, we're looking for a non all inclusive hotel with a restaurant, nice pool, and one that's within close walking distance to the beach, shops, restaurants, and cafes. We will not rent a car. Our budget is somewhat flexible, but I'd say we're hoping to stay between $5000-6000 for our trip, flights from the northeast included.
