Hotel recommendation in Grand Cayman
 

We are considering a vacation to Grand Cayman and would like to know your recommendations for a hotel to stay where there is excellent snorkling off the beach.

Check out www.caymanvacations.com for places to stay. There's excellent snorkeling all over the island, so rent a car and just explore. I recommend a condo if your a family traveling to GC.

I second the condo suggestion...we have done both and stayed at the Regal Beach Condos next to the Marriot for the past 4 years and love it. We are leaving next Saturday for two weeks with our 6 and 4 year old boys and babysitter. You may have to drive to "excellent" off beach snorkeling, if you choose 7 Mile Beach though.

I highly recommend www.discoverypointclub.com , it is beach walking distance to Cemetary Reef, which offers some of the islands best snorkeling.

The condos are decorated nicely and have a pool and jaquzzi on the beach.
