Hotel on Turks

Has anyone stayed at the Sands at Grace Bay? the ocean view studio with a screened in patio is more reasonable than other locations that I have looked at.The location looks good. walking distance of shops. If you have not stayed here but have other recommendations please give those to me as well. Thank you.

I've stayed a couple of times, good mod-range resort

I would still rent a car, at night there's a couple of dark spots getting to restaurants, and other restaurants are too far to walk

Plus you want to explore, do not miss Chalk Sound, the most turquoise water you'll ever see, and other beaches are stunning too

If you're in doubt, contact:

Turksandcaicosreservations.com

They are on island and can tell you of specials and fine tune your wants for vacation

Stayed in a two bed oceanfront condo many years ago. Location is great on Grace bay. Kid friendly. And you are right its more reasonably priced that the other resorts.

We stayed there twice about 10 years ago. Can't say whether it has been well maintained during the intervening years, but we were very happy with it. The units were really nice, good pool, beautiful location on the beach, and you had use of their catamarans. I do remember there are some shops in walking distance but I agree that you would want a car.
