Honeymooners Need Your Help!

My fiance and I are planning our honeymoon for June 2003 and have NO idea where to go. We're looking for a secluded place where we can plop on the beach and relax! We've been doing some research and LOVE Cap Juluca and were thinking of going there for a few days and then heading to St. Martin / Marteen. Is this something that would be relatively easy to do? How do we get there, etc.? Thanks for your help!

Any recommendations for accommodations on St. Martin / Marteen and Anguilla are a great help, too!

Christina,
I think it sounds like a great idea, as Anguilla is pretty laid back and low key, and you will be in the perfect place to relax and unwind after your wedding. Congratulations!
Anguilla is just a few miles from St. Martin.
You can take the ferry over or fly.
Either one does not take long, but the ferry may be a bit more of an "experience" than you want.
You'll need to keep your passports handy for either option.

Hi!
We spent our honeymoon in Anguilla at Cap Juluca and absolutely loved it. It is so quiet and laid back but at the same time it is completely luxurious - you will feel spoiled. While you can lay on the beach all day, have drinks....etc - they also have plenty of activities if you want them - kayaking, sailing..etc - but it's not like one of those tacky resort- all inclusives. It just has the best of both worlds. We ended or trip in St Barths and it was perfect. a little more nightlife, and more adventurous. I wouldn't recommend St Martin after - Stay on in Anguilla or pick another island that is just as friendly and as clean as it is. St Martin just didn't appeal to me.
Just my opinion.....
Let me know if you want more details - I love talking about Anguilla!
Good luck with your plans!!
Anguilla and St. Martin are very easy to combine. Going off to St. Martin is very easy, and I would suggest the ferry, This will give you a relaxing departure as ferries go approx. every 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Marigot-no custom etc, and taxis are the norm for arriving ferries.
