We will be arriving at Sandals St. Lucia on July 3 and staying through the twelfth. We will be getting married on July 7th on the beach. We are looking for some other people that will also be at the resort the same time as us. We need witnesses for our marriage and would prefer to meet a couple and have fun with them while we are there so we can at least know a little about our Maid of Honor and Best Man. (otherwise the hotel provides staff for our witnesses) So, let me know if you will be there July 3, 2001-July 12, 2001. Also any tips on getting a possible upgrade?? We are 1Bdr. Honeymoon Oceanview Suites (1st level concierge) but would like to stay on the bluffs.

Our friends and family cannot afford the trip, so we thought it would be nice to meet someone that is already going and hang with them for a bit. Thanks for your input though.....

Hi Jill,

If you don't get a response from anyone at Sandals...my husband and I will be at Jalousie Hilton July 4-11! That's on the opposite end of the island from Sandals, but we plan on getting up to your end and probably renting a car. So, it could work out for us to be your witnesses/ Best Man-Maid of Honor. We just got married a year ago, May 2000, so I know what an exciting time this is!

Oh, I've heard that your travel agent should send a VIP fax requesting an upgrade for you, and that may work.
