Honeymoon in June: St Lucia, St Kitts, or St Martin/St Maarten?

Getting married June 2011 and looking at Caribbean honeymoon destinations. The budget would probably be about $4,000 for 1 week: flying out of Boston. Looking at a place that offers more than just the beach: historic sites, some nightlife/bars, rainforest, rum factory, etc. We like the idea of a lush, tropical paradise with rainforests, varied scenery, etc. 3 places that really appeal to us are St Lucia, St Kitts, and St Martin/St Maarten. There seems to be some good deals that time of year. What can people tell me about these places? Is the rain more of a late afternoon shower or a total washout in mid to late June? Any real safety concerns with either locale?

While it may rain every day, the rain on any of those islands during June will likely be in the form of brief passing showers and for St. Lucia and St. Kitts more likely to be up in the rain forests rather than down in the lowlands near the beaches. It's generally a non-issue.

Now some comparisons:

Beaches - Most people will tell you St. Martin probably has the best beaches, followed by St. Kitts than St. Lucia.

Historic Sights - St. Kitts, St. Lucia then St. Martin.

Nightlife - St. Martin, hands down. The other islands don't compare in that arena.

Rum factory - none on St. Kitts, can't recall if there's any on the other two islands.

Lushness - St. Lucia wins this category followed by St. Kitts. St. Martin is aird in comparison to the other two.

We have been to Nevis/St. Kitts and are very excited to go back again. We were there for a week, but time there is so slow it felt like a stretched out vacation to us. St Kitts is a quaint island full of laid back local people. The island has that turquoise colored water, blue skies and those golden colored beaches. Plenty of adventures.
