Honeymoon Help

Ok, I need a little help.
If you could choose 1 place in the caribbean for your honeymoon, where would you go?

I have been to Grand Cayman and loved it.

We love to snorkel, and swim, either pool or ocean. Not too crowded. A little night life but no need for all-night partying. Friendly people. Great Restaurants. and golf.

I know I described Cayman to a T, but I was hoping to investigate another location for Spring 2004.

Hi there,
I would like to suggeat to you to give serious consideration to Barbados for your honeymoon, it had all the prospects of a honeymoon paradise.

From long quiet romantic beaches to very very romantic restaurants, to romantic places to visit, not to mention lots of fun activities to do and places to go.

I'm sure others will comment on the atmosphere of the island. You mentioned friendly people, it is said that Barbados has some of the friendliest people in the world, who are always willing to help.

Snorkeling and swimming goes hand in hand with some of the beaches found on the island. I guarantee you will love Barbados and guarantee when you come, you will return again.

Do give serious consideration to the island.
If you or anyone need any information, have any questions or queries about the island feel free to email me at [email protected]

There are a couple of places on the island of St. Lucia that I think are some of the most romantic spots on earth. However, I don't know if it's the best fit for you if you want a lot of golfing unless you do a combo stay.

The southwest coast of St. Lucia is dominated by the two Piton mountains and make for an absolutely stunning landscape. The island is lush and tropical with great snorkeling, diving, and friendly people. If you want pure romance, consider staying at Ladera Resort or Anse Chastenet. They are unique resorts that take advantage of the mountain breezes by having one wall completely open. Ladera also offers private plunge pools with most, if not every, room.

The Jalousie Hilton might be a good choice if you prefer traditional resort ameneties. They are a full service resort with a spa. Their golf facilities, however, are only of the pitch and putt variety. The beach there is beautfiul, as is the pool area. Good snorkeling from the beach, and diving facilities offered on site. Most rooms also have the private plunge pool here, too.

You could consider splitting your honeymoon between two places on St. LUcia. A few nights at one of the above places so you can have the romance and privacy that these places offer, combined with a few nights at either the LeSport All-inclusive, which offers golf and all kinds of sports and spa treatments, or perhaps one of the Sandals resorts that offers along the same lines. That way both you and your new spouse will be happy.

I really cannot emphasize enough just how gorgeous, romantic, and private the places near the Pitons are. They're perfect for a honeymoon, and if you give yourself a few nights at another resort that offers more activities and nightlife, you'll have an unforgettable time and a perfect fit!

I can't tell how much i agree with ejcrowe's post. Ladera and the Jalousie Hilton are as close to heaven on earth as you may find anywhere. Anse Chastanet coming in close behind the two. And yes if you want golf, a split with a northern resort as La Sport would be perfect.
