Does anyone know of a secluded, romantic, <BR>beautiful vacation spot that a mid-twenties couple might enjoy for a honeymoon? We have a budget of around 7,000 ( paying ourselves) <BR>but can only seem to find high tourist sites. <BR>I would appreciate any help anyone could offer. Thank-You.

Also if you describe what might be ideals for "activities" and that you might enjoy (dining out, snorkling, sailing, beaching, hiking, nitelife, etc.), it might help with suggestions.

I assume you mean a 7 night honeymoon at the nicest place you can stay for under $7,000 including air. It depends a little on the dates and your starting point. For the Caribbean I will suggest Guana Island http://www.guana.com. After the 1st of April it would run about $5,200 all inclusive, taxes, meals, tips etc. except for hard drinks for you both. You could get there RT on American for around $1100 for two people from JFK in New York. If you are on the West Coast, I will suggest http://www.MatangiIsland.com or http://www.namalefiji.com. A cost of a all inclusive package except for booze for two including air from LAX up to March 31 at Matangi is about $4500 with a deluxe bure. I think you can find a 7 day package from some travel agents for under 7000 including the honeymoon bure and air from LAX. This is all inclusive including fine wines and spirits. These are all every special small places. You might find Fiji a little more beautiful and exotic than the Caribbean. In general the people are friendlier. These are all safe areas with excellent food. We have stayed at all except Namale but honeymooners love it. Fiji is an easy flight from LAX. We can get there sooner from San Diego than we can get to the BVI.

Thank-you....I have heard alot about St. Johns, having never been to the carribean, do you recommend Caneel Bay or villas? Airfare is already taken care of, but the prices vary so much at resorts and the pictures are all the same I have no idea what I am really getting for the money. Oh and yes this is to be a week-long vacation, should we budget for more than 7,000 for accomodations? Thnaks again! Louis, great websites!
