Honeymoon
Hi:

My fiance and I are trying to find a great honeymoon spot and heard the Four Seasons in Nevis was great- any suggestions? What about Nevis vs. a smaller island, i.e. St Vincent or Canouan? Thanks! I appreciate any input!

You might consider the Private Island of Petite Saint Vincent.

Hi- thank you so much for both your advice. I will look into both properties!

I've been a flight attendant for 10 years for a private company. I would fly to beautiful areas for my passengers to meet up with their 156 ft sail boat. Then I would stay on which ever island we parked our airplane on. Saint Vincent is the most disgusting place in the Caribbean. So much poverty, nice people, terribly hot & humid weather and NOTHING to do. My husband and I just got back from a 4 night stay in Aruba. The BEST island I've ever been to in the Caribbean. Perfect weather, english spoken, american money taken, great resturants, beautiful beaches and snorkeling, casinos, some shopping and only 7 inches of rain a year. Great place for a honeymoon. Infact, the week after we got back, our best friends went on their honeymoon. They loved it! Something for you to consider.

You recommend Aruba and you've been to wonderful secluded undeveloped islands that are gateways to the pristine carib? oh my! Four Seasons is lovely just beautiful but the beach isn't one that you stand there and say oh wow! Good golf, great rebuild and sublime in every other detail though!

Go to Little Dix Bay in the Virgin Gorda. My wife and I split our honeymoon between Little Dix and Caneel Bay. Enjoyed Caneel but Little Dix is just fantastic. There isn't a bad room there, The beach is amazing. It has its own reef that runs the whole length of the bay in front of the resort. My wife and I still sigh when we think about it. Even getting there is great. They pick you up in the resort yacht, hand you a drink and have you sit back for the 30 minute ride.
