High-end resorts - Any adults only?
Are any of the high-end luxury Caribbean resorts - such as Peter Island, Curtain Bluff, Jumby Bay, Cap Juluca, Petit St. Vincent, etc. - adults only, or do they all permit children? I am familiar with Grand Lidos, Sandals, and Galley Bay and am aware that they are all adults only; however I am interested in something more upscale.

You might try Pink Sands on Harbour Island in the Bahamas, very upscale and accomodations are villas overlooking a stretch of breathtaking pink sand beach.

I think the website is www.islandoutpost.com

Hope this helps a bit. Have a great trip.

tweedy

You might consider Ladera on St. Lucia...

Horned Dorset Primavera is definitely adults only. It is located in Rincon, Puerto Rico. I have friends who stayed there and raved about it. I've always wanted to stay in one of their suites.

While both Pink Sands and Ladera are lovely resorts, both also permit children. I am asking if there are any upscale resorts which are adults only, i.e. do NOT permit children (or at the least have an age restriction such as no one under 16). I will check into Horned Dorset, thanks for that info. Are there any others out there?

Childfree: Ever consider a luxury villa w/pool, cook, etc. on one of your favorite islands? Just a thought, as there are many to choose from and you might find a child free area by asking the rental agency. I prefer child free myself, but don't like large resorts so haven't found one yet. Good luck in your quest.

Some high-end do limit during season. Meridian Club and Curtain Bluff have a no children policy

Little Palm Island in the Keys. Went last year for our anniversary. Loved it! Romantic suites, Fabulous food and service, easy to get to and very upscale! No kids under 16 allowed. When we were there there wasn't any one under 30.
