Hi Brenda! Yes, we returned on July 4th. I haven't done a report as there isn't a whole lot that was different from our 2007 trip. It was indeed a working vacation. The long travel days and transition to the heat and humidity took their toll on the the twins. In hindsight, we probably expected a bit much. I don't want to paint a negative picture of CocoLaPalm, but we had a few minor issues. It is very possible we are just in need of a new place to stay, just my wife and I, of course! It may be a few years before we return with the entire family and when we do, it may be at an AI (gulp!).
Overall we had an unforgettable time and tried a few new things. The beach is very kid friendly and the Jamaican hospitality is amazing. My wife and I would like to expand our travel to other Caribbean destinations and this may give us an opportunity to do so alotting a week or so a year for her and I to do this by ourselves. Sorry for those hoping for more. I do have over 200 great photos, mostly of the children! |

Glad you had a nice time in spite of the "work". Curious what your issues were with CLP. If we go back to Jamaica, we would still consider staying there again. The location is so great.
Sounds like it is time for you and Julie to have a "hot date trip" as Caribtraveller calls it. STJ might be calling your names :). |

there is nothing major from a negative standpoint. just some minor issues we had that may have had more to do with the added stress our small children gave us! you can email me and i can give you some specifics but it isn't fair for me to to go "public" on these. |

Thanks! Yes, they did fine as we kept the SPF 50 lathered on them. They didn't last for too long, however, lots of long naps in the room with the AC on!

Wow, have they grown and aren't they so adorable! They are very lucky kiddos and should become travel bugs like the rest of us since they started at such an early age!
