Planning in visiting Dominican Republic Punta Cana in June 04. Have been reading some messages about certain resorts. Would be interested in Iberostars Bavaro Suites and Melia Caribe Tropical and Paradisus Resorts. Need info: food? service? rooms?airport transportations? nightlife? Please help if tried these. 2 adults going. Thanks

We stayed at IBB (suites) last year, and enjoyed it. The "suite" was really a large room, in an 8 suite building, which was very nice. Food, beach, grounds were very good, and I can recommend it. We had a package from Apple which included a direct flight from Philly and transportation.

Went to the Paradisus last year, and it was the best resort we've ever been to. The service was absolutely incredible, the rooms were beautiful, and the food was great. You can even get room service in the middle of the night, at no charge. We're planning to go back next year if the price is right. I really think you'll be pleasantly surprised, just as we were, if you go.

We stayed at Paradisus and it was very nice. Lots of activities, shows nightly and a disco. There is a buffet restaurant, french, italian, spanish, chinese, mexican and japanese restaurant. Paradisus is part of the Melia chain and I believe is next door to the Caribe tropical. Go there on the night they have the Chopin Buffet. Agree with the Debbies web site recommendation. Great site
