Help with post tour stay Cuba
 

We are travelling on an organized tour to Cuba in February 2017 and are looking for a few nights of beach relaxing following the tour. Would appreciate any recommendations for mid range accommodation. Most I have looked at have a significant number of negative reviews. Thanks

We didn't stay on a beach but spent a few hours on the beach at Trinidad and at Cayo santa Maria, and there seemed to be nice hotels in both locations.

if you are finishing your trip in Havana, have you thought of staying at Playa?

Sorry, should have said Varadero as our flight home departs from there

ok - sorry I can't help with that.

We have some Aussie friends that we met while we were in Cuba who ended their trip in Varadero - I'll see what they thought.

There are dozens of newish, higher end looking hotels on the tip of the island.

Barceló Arena, Cuatro Palmas, Blau Varadero are just a few hotel signs that show up in my photos from the hop on-off bus tour.

Lots of construction on any and every empty lot too.

(I stayed at a casa particular.)
