Help with a Honeymoon destination:

We are planning our honeymoon for March of 2007 even though we are getting married in Sept. 06. We want to avoid the hurricane issue. We went to Antigua in July and are looking for another island with the same color water...crystal clear. All inclusive is something we are open to but not committed to. Some of the places we have in mind are Anguilla- Cap Juluca, St. John- Caneel Bay, Turks & Caicos...we think Parrot Cay might be too quiet. Peter Island is also on our list as is Barbados and St. Barths. We want luxury. We want to feel we are getting what we are paying for so great service is a must. At the same time we do not want to feel we have to dress up every night. Dining is also important. Being on the beach or steps away is something we'd love. Lastly a destination that does not require me to fly on a tiny plane. Any ideas or suggestions would be much appreciated.

Hello rbs:
Check out the website for the Westin in St. John if you're looking for a luxurious hotel.
Best wishes!

Look at the Coral Reef Club on Barbados. It's where we spent our honeymoon and it was wonderful. It's a small, family-owned resort and service is wonderful and very low-key. They were very helpful with arranging a rental car, golf tee times and horseback riding.

CRC has a lovely beach and the snorkling is very good (there is a Marine Park next door).

Barbados has a mix of restaurants, ranging from The Cliff, which is one of the best in the Caribbean and Lone Star, which I think is better than the Cliff, to Angry Annies, which is a fun, casual place in Holetown with great food.

Congratulations, good luck and have fun!
