Help! honeymoon mid March,need ideas
 

Hi. Helping a friend plan her honeymoon next March. We live in Florida. She's 27, only has 5 days and wants to go on a beach vacation. Her budget is $5k including airfare. Obviously doesn't need extra-curricular nightlife. Any suggestions will be most welcome. Thanks.

2nd the vote for Turks & Caicos, but I suggest Point Grace. Most luxurious accomodations we have experienced. Another good choice is the Curacao Marriott, we were just there in March, it is an easy 2 1/2 hour flight from Miami.

I went to Barbados for my honeymoon and we spent about that for 10 days, but in the low season (November). For $1000 a day, even including airfare, it's certainly worth a look. She will not be able to afford Sandy Lane, but there are plenty of other wonderful resorts on the island (check out the Coral Reef Club and the Colony Club)
