I found it on American Airlines website. Since I booked the flights the fare has gone up considerably for the dates we are traveling. We are traveling after Thanksgiving for 10 days. I find that it's actually cheaper to book with the airlines directly because you save the service charge that Orbitz, Expedia, etc. add on. I've only once found a considerably lower fare on www.cheaptickets.com that was lower than the airline offered. A couple of weeks ago I was playing around with the dates after Thanksgiving and found fares that were a little bit cheaper than what I paid (not for my travel dates, but a day before or after my travel dates). When are you planning your trip?

Have any of you tried itasoftware.com? i got the link of a travel magazine. It was developed by some guys at MIT.
I have been watching fares to PR for the last 2 months for the end of Dec. i tried this website and it did come in lower.
I have not bought tix yet, so do not know how it all works. I think they search the other websites then show you the cheapest way.
Anyone had luck, experiences good or bad?

This year I booked my air early in July after checking for months for the best fare. The rate was only there for 2-3 days and then it went back up. In the past, I have found the fares didn't drop until late August. I checked out itasoftware.com for the dates I'm traveling and they were the same as AA, but my trip is only a few weeks away. I will definately check them out for future trips.

Burnslogan,
I'm looking for the same general time period you are, but from Washington or Baltimore. I saw a fare around $455 last week, which seemed pretty good, but I decided to wait and see (because I'm not entirely sure about my trip plans and didn't want to pay for another trip now before I go on my December trip).

I have been watching rates bos to sju for the past 2 months for any day between Christmas and New Years. They have been really high, sometimes as high as $300, $260(this is one way). Yesterday morning I looked and got Dec. 28 non stop for $135!! It was Expedia and I checked Itasoftware and it was only $5 less, so I went with Expedia since that is the company I usually use.
Now the countdown!!
