Help! does anyone know if the Virgin Gorda has any spectacular reefs to snorkel from????
 

we would love to visit the virgin gorda but it from what we are hearing there are not many reefs . Is this true! Thanks for responding. Theresa : )

We are going to BVI in Juna and will stop in Virgin Gorda. I seem to hear simlarly but Anegada (short boat ride away) is all coral reef and limestone. Should be spectacular there. Have heard of all sorts of great places to snorkl in the BVI. From what I've heard I don't think I will be disappointed in the British Virgin Islands. I am going in June to sail and snorkel. When are you going?

Sandy , thanks for the reply, my family and I are planning to go at the end of May. we really want to get in some good snorkeling. But we have heard many mixed views on the quality of snorkeling in the virgin gorda. If you hear anything else please let me know. Have a great trip! Theresa

Virgin Gorda has the best snorkeling ever! Whoever is saying otherwise is crazy. The area of "the Baths" are absolutely incredible. It is by far the best snorkeling we've ever seen. We stayed at Little Dix and the snorkeling wasn't that great right at the hotel but we went to some other beaches (Long Bay) and it was like another world once you put your head in the water. We've been to several islands in Hawaii, Bora Bora, Moorea, St. Martin, Cancun and Cozamel. We both agreed that Virgin Gorda had the best snorkeling of all.
