Hello,

looking for help in picking a caribbean island to go to. Looking for a direct flight from New York. Would perfer a AI or a couples only resort but a resort w/children would also be ok as we are traveling in Oct. We are looking for nice beaches some night life at the resort with several restaurants perfer ala carte . looking for something in the medium price range nothing too $$$. We have been to antigua x's 2 jamaica, st. martin, st. barts, barbados, st. lucia t&c x's2 rivera maya and punta cana. Any suggestions would be great was wondering about curaco also? thanks for any help

I highly recommend Curacao. It's very high on our favorites list. We stayed at the Marriott - which does offer an AI plan. We didn't use it and you would be wise to think twice about it as if you check around you will find that Curacao has many wonderful restaurants. The beach is very large and the pool area is quite tropical. There is nightlife at the hotel. There are also a number of different excursions available.
