heat/humidity in Aruba in August?

We had originally planned to go to Aruba during April vacation, but now have to postpone it until the first week of August. Is that an okay time heat and humidity wise? We ended up in Puerto Vallarta one summer and almost died from the heat and humidity, so decided to research the weather this time.

I've been to Aruba twice: June and October and found them about the same. Aruba is arid and has very low humidity, year round. It is not a tropical paradise, but is quite beautiful. It's hot during the day and warm at night, but the constant breeze makes it pleasant and still comfortable. Don't stay out too long in the sun in August, especially 11:00am-2:00pm as it gets HOT. If possible, stay on Palm Beach as it is very nice. Rent a motor scooter and go explore the island which is only about 19 miles long and six miles wide. The people are friendly and all speak english. Have fun and enjoy!
