I am excited for you! That is our "next" trip to the Caribbean, EJ helped me out so much with research, she is amazing, so after Italy, the next one will be Nisbet on Nevis.

Have a great time, MIM. Wish I were heading back there sometime soon. If you stop by Sunshine's drink a Killer Bee for me. I'm still trying to recreate that drink at home as it was my favorite rum punch (so far). But I've been trying to recreate something I tasted months ago and the memory is fading. Part of me was convinced I was even tasting a little strawberry in it!

I'd love to know what you think the non-standard ingredients are when you return. Pretty sure there's mango, not sure about guava, though I read somewhere that guava was in it. Anyway, enjoy your time on Nevis!

EJ - She said that Sunshine will not reveal the recipe. Maybe a lab could analyze it! I will try to find out for you.

The main ingredient in Sunshine's Killer Bee is Pashion Fruit juice (and of course rum). Beyond that the rest is supposed to be a secret.

What I would do for a Killer Bee right now!!!

Passion fruit juice! THat makes sense now that I know that. I had read that the exact ingredients and proportions were well-guarded secrets, but when I read the comment about guava (maybe when CT&L profiled Sunshine's) it really threw me off.

Anyone know where one can obtain passion fruit juice in the states? I've tried the stuff that Goya puts up, but it's not very tasty. Maybe I can make it my weekend project. :)
