Has anyone traveled to San Juan, PR since the hurricane?
Just wondering - specifically about the San Juan area. I know that some hotels are still closed (The San Juan Hotel and Ritz Carlton) but most seem to have re-opened. I'd be interested to hear what's going on there - are tourists back? Restaurants all opened? Any visible damage? Thanks.

There are several threads with scores of replies answering this question on the Puerto Rico Forum at TripAdvisor. Basically, the san Juan area is pretty much back to normal, some hotels, however, remain fully booked up by FEMA personnel.

Thanks for the replies. Last year was the first year in many years that I didn't go to San Juan. We are looking at going for a week at the end of June and just wanted to get a sense of how things are going. Sassafrass - look forward to your report back after your March visit. I will also check the forums at TripAdvisor.
