Has anyone stayed at the St. James hotel?
We are finally planning a return trip to Barbados. It's been 10 years since we have last been there. Prices for the West Coast now seem outrageous (maybe they always were). We like the beaches and towns there and would not want to stay anywhere else. The St. James Hotel looks very nice from their website. Has anyone had any experience with it? Thanks.

St. James area is a rip. Wanna know a secret? Try this place.

Small, secluded and under a $100 a night. I lived not too far from Long Beach for 5 years. It's a great little place.

I got their name and website from Barbados.org. It's www.the-stjames.com/specials.htm
Thanks for the tip, Big Al. I have relatives in Barbados and while visiting them have stayed in many areas in the past - West Coast, St. Lawrence Gap, Rockley, Bathsheba, St. Joseph. The West Coast is certainly not for the value minded, but for me, you can't beat that beach for swimming and romance!
