Has anyone stayed at Moondance Villas in Negril?
 

Just wondering if anyone has stayed at Moondance Villas in Negril. It was recommened to me by one of the posters here (Liza, I think) and I just had a chance to look at the website and it looks AMAZING! We would be staying in Lilac Mist for our honeymoon. They are very expensive, so thinking about splitting a stay somewhere on the cliffs maybe. (Heard something about a great suite at the Blue Caves -- not sure if that is the name -- for $100/night).
Just wanted to get some opinions from those who have stayed at moondance. Are the villas right on the beach?

I think the second one that you are thinking about is Blue Cave Castle. That is one of the places we will be staying. Yes, the penthouse suit is $100/night during high season, less money when you are going.

Have not stayed there yet, but have reservations in the spring. I did my homework pretty well prior to booking.
Seems like it's for real. Not all the villas are beach front but all are very close to the beach. We're hoping for a great experience and I'll report back after our stay. Good luck!

Good friends of mine split the 3 BR house at Moondance (forget the name but it was closest to the beach). It was BEAUTIFUL nad they had a great time there and a huge amount of private beach space, and a pool.

Internet service in the LR, wet bar, full staff, plush leather couches....really well-done all around.

My husband and I got married at Moon Dance Villas this past June, and it was far and away the very best trip ever!
We rented Bay Whisper and Dream Walk for our group of 14, all the homes are unbelievable--the Web site doesn't do them justice.
You should go for the all-inclusive meal and drink deal, you'll be stuffed with the best food. The staff is amazing, too. Let me know if you'd like more detailed info. Have a great trip!
