Has anyone stayed at 9 Beaches in Bermauda?
Hello, I'm trying to do some research and plan a Honeymoon for my fiancé and I in early May. Thanks to your help, I was able to find 9 Beaches in Bermuda. It seems like a nice place to me, with very good prices. Has anyone stayed here, if so, would you please let me know what you though of it and if you'd recommend going there for a 6 night honeymoon?
Our criteria for our trip are as follows: -Small resort, no mega resorts -Preferably in the Caribbean -Preferably a place with few or no children -Near the water -Price range - $5,000 - 7,000 or so Thanks for your help, |
Type "tpatricco" in the search box and you'll find her recent report on her stay there.

Hi Hou_Dal, I had an interesting experience at 9 Beaches. Overall, I don't think the "resort" is a bad place. We had yucky weather for most of our stay and we didn't rent a scooter because of the rain. 2 Things that I think contributed hugely to my cranky attitude about the trip.
My opinion is that 9 Beaches is a good resort for families in summer when they can stay mostly on site and take advantage of the watersports and small beaches. If you hope to explore Bermuda, I'd stay someplace more central and rent a scooter to get around. Somerset is far out on the island and doesn't provide much in the way of nearby options for dining & nightlife. There will definitely be children there no matter what time of year. On a previous trip to Bermuda, we stayed in a B&B called The Granaway Guest House, located in Warwick Parrish which we loved. The only reason we did 9 Beaches for Thanksgiving was because I couldn't find reasonable airfare this time without it being in a package deal. I would highly recommend The Granaway. Trish |
Check out the Reefs. Very nice, small hotel (cottages), oceanfront, the only kids there were mine, excellent food. We really enjoyed this resort and would return in a heartbeat. My brother spent his honeymoon there about 15 years ago. :) My parent spent their honeymoon there almost 50 years ago :)

Hi -- I have not stayed at 9 Beaches in Bermuda. My husband and I have stayed at Cambridges Beaches twice and we highly recommend this resort. Although children are allowed we saw only 2 children our first trip and none on our second. Our cottage was very spacious with a terrific water view. It makes for a great honeymoon -- there are several private beaches, a nice spa and wonderful gourmet food. Good luck in your planning! A.
