Has anyone been to Harrison's Cave?

We visited the caves several years ago. We had rented a car but you can get a taxi or a tour bus to take you there. You do not need reservations but some times could be busier than others. It is very accessible and civilized: there are trams that take you into the well lit caves. I recall that you can walk around in some areas.

Harrisons Cave - It really isn't worth the time or the money. You can just show up - although you may run into another tour bus with passengers from the cruise line (should a ship be in that day)...Ride a tram, wear a yellow hard hat - but it really isn't as great as it sounds.

We took our own rental, but I think I remember seeing taxis there. We must not have been there on a day the cruise ship was in, or if we were it didn't seem like it. I thought the cave was pretty neat looking. Nice relaxing ride on the tram... cool air... neat sights...

The Harrison's Cave is open daily and every hour starts a tour - the fare for the Tram-Ride through the Cave was about 40 Bds. $ - I think! It's not a budget Ride! I prefer next door Welchman Hall Gully! There you can see a lot of different for Barbados typical Trees from Fuit- to Palmtrees and sometimes also our green monkeys! You can get there - same way like the Cave also by public Transportation.
