Half moon

We are going in early December on the "good life" all inclusive plan. Booked a superior room (lowest category) and wondering about location of the restaurants relative to our room. Are sugar Mill, Seagrape and Il Guardino all walking distance form the suprerior rooms? Also, we are not meat eaters but like fish. Do these restaurants have a decent fish selection? Also, can we walk to tennis from these rooms? Finally, if we land at 4:20 pm on a Thursday, when can we reasonably expect to be in our room? Thanks for the help

I do not have an answer for you, but my fiance', well then husband, will be going to half moon for half of our jamaica honeymoon.
We are doing the same plan, and I was wondering the same questions about the restaurants. I heard they are all excellent, esp. sugarmill. Everyone says how huge the resort is, so I am not sure about how far things are. As for the room, we wanted a suite, but it is just way to expensive, so we are doing the same as you. When in Dec. are you going?

I'm not sure where Seagrape and Il Guardino are in relation to the Superior Room you'll be staying in but the Sugar Mill is across the road from where the hotel rooms are.

Thanks Jagirl. Are you saying that it's not a far walk? If so, do you think that it's safe to walk to Sugar mill in the evening?

It's not a far walk but perhaps not one you might want to do in the evening. Perhaps the resort will have golf carts or shuttle or other transportation available? When you get there you should be able to arrange something.

Besides the ones you have named, tere are also some other restaurants in that area that you might also want to check out. There is also a new shopping complex not very far from the Half Moon Hotel called the Shoppes at Rose Hall. Sorry, but I haven't been out there as yet so can't tell you much about it.

Half Moon has shuttles that will transport you around the resort (it is a HUGE resort in terms of area).. last time I was there though we used bikes for fun :)

You take a shuttle to Sugar Mill--it is very well organized. You wouldn't want to walk. It is a beautiful restaurant and the food was great. Everything else is close by. The tennis is also walkable.

Isn't check-in at 3 or 4? We arrived around 3:30 as I recall and our room was ready.

It's a beautiful resort--have fun!
