Haiti - summer months?

Hot and hurricane season.... would I be crazy to go in the summer months? I am interested in a group trip w/ a organization that is excellent.

Personally would wait till winter...

weather2travel.com Climate guide Haiti

Mostly cruise tourists visit from Labadee crusecritic.com

cheapcaribbean.com cheap carib tours to better areas

Guadeloupe Martinique lots better for tourists

unless u are very adventurous and are ok with poverty LOTS

might select another more touristic destination with

better beaches...

What month exactly? Generally speaking it is incredibly hot and humid in the Caribbean during the summer months, and yes I think it is "crazy" to go that time of year.

Do you have an organization in mind for Haiti? Or you are looking for one?

JULY was a thought.... 4-5 days only

Is April better??

I have an organization in mind.

This is a service type trip. I would not consider it for a "Hawaiian style" beach vacation for myself or family.

Yes April weather would likely be better than July. Nothing specific to Haiti but throughout the Caribbean.
