Can anyone recommend a place? Any idea how much this will cost?

When we where there a friend of mine wanted to have it done. We could only find one place close to 7MB and it was on the main drag near the Hyatt in a strip mall. She decided not to get it done. I just cant remember the name off hand. I will ask if any of then remember.
GC is not the kind of place where people walk around and offer to braid for you on the beach.

You can get your hair braided in Georgetown at several shops. We went to a small shop that sold T-shirts next to the large aquarium. They charge by the braid and did a nice job.

There are two other hair salons that I know of - one is in the strip center just south of Treasure Island and the other is in the strip center across from the Westin. The one across from the Westin had a special - if you had a manicure or pedicure, they would braid your hair for free.
