St. Thomas is one of my favorite islands--a real must for your first (or any) visit is Magan's Bay, which is a lovely public beach. Also, the shopping is tremendous. Lots of people head over to St. John for their beaches, but for a cruise it eats up a lot of your time, and Magan's Bay is just as nice. Guadalope is a real pretty island, I recommend you hire a taxi for a tour, since very little English is spoken. Don't forget to buy some spices in Grenada--they are a great bargain!! The people there are a little too friendly--it might be good to hire a taxi as soon as you get off the ship--otherwise every other person you pass will try to get you to hire them! Have a great time--wish I were going too!

Another must in St. Thomas is Sapphire Beach. The water and the white sand beach is truly beautiful. It's also and great place to have lunch and enjoy a view of St. John Island.
