Hello all:

As we count down to our trip, just want to check in about electrical outlets on the island.

I know that they run on 220V. Do they use two-pronged plugs like Antigua, or more like the traditional three-pronged plug as in the Great Britain. If three pronged please let me know if the pins are round or square.

Any last minute advice? Turtleback and LaLuna here we come (very excited about this combo).

I saw a mix of both 110 and 220 outlets during our trips to Grenada. A lot of places built/renovated recently are switching over to the 2-prong 110 outlet commonly found in the US. The 220 outlets that we saw were the large three pronged variety. I can't recall which version LaLuna had, but the two villas I stayed in (including Turtleback) had mostly US/110/2 prong style with a couple of UK/220/3-prong style in the kitchen. We were able to plug our US style things directly into the wall outlets, including our laptops and hairdryers.

P. S. If you enjoy reading in bed at night, just mention that to Sharon and Anthon, who will be able to provide an extra reading light to you or your partner. The smaller lights next to the bed weren't bright enough to read by on one of our visits. Hope you have a great time!

Believe it or not, I can't remember how many prongs on the plugs at LaLuna even though we were there last month. If you need an adaptor, LaLuna will provide one for you. Just let them know you need it.
