Grenada - Where to Stay?

Looking for a place to stay in Grenada that is first class, offers a spectular beach, fine dining, exquisite accommodations and most important is extremely quiet. No boat traffic, no night clubs, no noise. Any ideas??? We are extremely picky.

Spice Island Beach Resort sounds made-to-order for you. It's literally ON Grand Anse Beach. From the beachfront rooms, you step onto the sand of the 2-mi long beach; from garden rooms, you're never more than a few steps from the water. Rooms are very posh, with individual plunge pools, hot tubs, or double Jacuzzis. The grounds are lovely, it's quiet (mostly couples), with first-class service. A couple of nights, after dinner, there's entertainment - e.g., steel band on the beachfront patio. Can't go wrong here. Somewhat less elegant, and busier in terms of number of guests and activities, but still on the beach and very nice are Coyaba and Renaissance Grenada. A brand-new property is opening this month called Grand Anse Beach Resort, operated by Siesta Inn, I believe. Don't know much about it yet, but it's right on the beach as well. You'll love Grenada!

You might want to consider Calabash also...it's on a quieter beach than Grand Anse, and is very spaciously laid out. Morne Rouge beach is also a short drive away...my favourite beach in Grenada!
Have a great trip!

Try La Source on Pink Gin Beach. This is a spa resort that is truely all inclusive. The rooms have marble floors and bath with a four poster bed and balcony or patio. All activities including golf, tennis, scuba diving etc are included along with three meals, high tea, alcohol and spa services such as massages. I spent 10 days there last November. Most guest are Europeans and they stay 2-3 weeks. It is one of the few resorts where you can really relax. The beach and pool area are fantastic!
