Green Turtle Cay Help?

Can anyone recommend a house or reasonable hotel on Green Turtle Cay? From what I have read, there are only 4 hotels/inns and a handful of villas on cyberrentals/VRBO etc. Are there any gems that I am missing?

I got a lot of info from
www.abacomessageboard.com

Here is the lodging info:

Yes, its small and that's the charm of it. Be sure to rent a boat so you can visit nearby Treasure Cay (rated one of the top beaches and I can attest to that!), Great Guana Cay -- Nippers and beautiful beaches and snorkeling.

We love Abacos and looking forward to our next trip!!

Hope this gets you started!

We've been to the Abacos but never Green Turtle. Take a look at this company for rentals:

We have stayed at Tranquility and Villa Pasha from the previous map. Having walked by most of the houses on that side of the island, I would definately choose a house over one of the hotels. They are nice, but on the sound side, not the ocean. They have fun nightly events though-- bands, outdoor drinking. They seem to attract a lot of boaters who come in for a few days of land time. The grocery stores are better than other small Bahama islands, but bringing frozen meat in a cooler is a good idea. Rent a golf cart to get around, and a small boat for a few days to visit other islands.
