Great tour in St. Kitts
 

One of our ports on a recent cruise in November '06 was at St. Kitts. The highlight of our trip was our visit to this beautiful island. I had arranged by email with a private guide named Thenford Grey and we had a wonderful tour. Thenford had told me he had a new van that held 16 people. The price he quoted was $30/person with extra for park admissions for a 4 to 5 hour tour. We were skeptical about the number of people who would be in the van with us, but as it turned out we were the only two people included that day. Thenford never asked for any extra money—and gave us an outstanding private tour. He waiting for us when we got off the ship. He drove us around his island and we felt that we really experienced the very best that St. Kitts has to offer in a six hour time frame. We highly recommend Thenford to anyone wanting a wonderful tour of the island. He is an extremely interesting and gracious guide. I can’t imagine that taking pot-luck with a cab driver at the port could be anywhere near as good or as reasonably priced. We were so glad that we had arranged privately to take the tour rather than go along with the crowds or other tours on the cruise ship. I am bringing a group to St. Kitts on the 20th and he is picking us up at the airport. Can't wait to finally meeting him. :)

Just returned last night from a week in St. Kitts.

Thenford Grey was waiting at the airport for us. His van was clean, airconditioned, and comfortable. He is friendly, easy to understand, helpful and very knowledgeable about the island.

He also drove us to the beach on Xmas day.

I highly recommend him.
