Great things in Mobay area
Any suggestions for activities in the Mobay area. Love water, especially snorkeling and of course a day of shopping for local goods. What are the "you should have done this" type of activities.

1. Go out on a boat to snorkel. There are glass bottom boats you can charter (you and your group have it all and go where you want and you usually pay by the hour or can get a quote for going to a certain place for a certain amont of time with a certain number of people) or you can jump on one of the big party catamarans that do booze cruises during the day and at sunset.
2. Slide off the roof at Margaritaville. It's a tourist trap but the slide is fun. Water trampolines too. 3. You can shop along the hip strip for tourist stuff, I'm not much of a shopper so can't help you specifically....t-shirts, coffee, sarongs, crafts and knick knacks abound though. ...there's a lot to do right outside MoBay also - river rafting, waterfalls and house/plantation tours. |
Check out "Glistening Waters" (about 45 minutes East of Mobay). Check out the view from Richmond Hill, in Mobay itself. Practice your haggling skills if you plan to shop in Mobay.

Thanks everyone for the great suggestions. I'm really getting psyched for the visit.
