Cozumel, Grand Cayman, Barbados...hubby is the diver, and these are among his favs. It depends on your budget, what you want (high end/luxury, simplistic, etc.).

Where did you dive in St. Lucia? Hubby will snorkel there, but said not great for diving.

My husband is the diver not myself. He has liked T&C and Cozmel. For resorts we stayed at Beaches in T&C but I would not recommend it if you are not a family for it is loaded with children. It was o.k. but there are others. He also seemed to like GC quite a bit. I am sure there are others but these are all we know of.

I second some of the other posters suggestions.
The best diving we've done was on Cozumel, but the IC Presidente is the only luxury hotel there.
The diving is nearly as good on Provo, and there are several very nice properties there.
St. Lucia has good diving also, and some lovely properties. We stayed at Anse Chastanet and Ladera.
I'd rate the diving in the order I put them, and the resorts are best on Provo.

I have to agree with those that said GC. Good diving as well as good food. That's to start. Unfortunately, there aren't many resorts that people are absolutely delighted with on GC. You'd be better off selecting a condo.

Jan,I've done quite a bit of diving in the caribbean and the best by far is bonair. It's not the easiest island to get to but if you can you will love it!There are marked sites all on the roads so if you want you can do that as well as through the dive operations. You will see things you might not see everywhere else like seahorses and the biggest barricuda I've ever seen just snorkeling. You will not be sorry. The other place to go is saba. It's a beautiful pristine island, not much on beaches but the the diving is great,so is the landing on the island.I think it's the worlds smallest airstrip, like a bandaid. But really after you dive bonair it will spoil you,it did me.Give it a try!
