Grand Lido-Negril
 

Any suggestions or imput on the Grad Lido in Negril would be very helpful. How would two single females fit in? What knd of people are there? Is it mostly single horny guys from the east coast? How are the accomidations and activities? I'm not looking for a singles bar on a beech, I like to have fun just as much as the next person, but I enjoy meeting nice and interesting people. Any comments would welcome.

I have not been to GL Negril yet - but I have been working and hanging-out in Jamaica for several months now. <BR> <BR>GL Negril would probably be fun. I'm told it can be a little stuffy though...I have been told that Swept Away is much newer and more relaxed. I'll be staying there for 3 days the last weekend of January. Also, I'll be heading to GL Braco this weekend, so I may have a review posted soon for that one... <BR> <BR>Also, as a rule, all single guys are horny - some just have more class than others. As long as you stay away from Hedo, you will probably do fine... <BR> <BR>

Is this the same resort as the Grand Dildo in Negril?

Went To Grand Lido two years ago with my husband. Had the greatest time. They are A.I. They bring you a drink on the beach. Terricif beach. You can walk forever. Watch out for the natives sometime they will try to sell stuff, but I found them quite friendly. They take no for an answer. There is a clothing optional beach, their were two single guys sitting on this beach. But the other beach is normal for Jamaica, some are topless. Terrific sunset cruise and go to Rick's Cafe. Good place for two singles to go for the sunset and a drink. You can sign up for scuba or snokeling. There were two single girls in our scuba class at the time. The food is great. Last night they had a barbecue on the beach. Wonderful music and a relax atmosphere. I would not venture off the resort,though especially if it's just you two.

In addition, the accomodations are terrific. We had a view of the beach from our room and you can go out at night and enjoy the hammocks. There are lots of Hammocks.
